APART, A PART

in 2022, I spent winter break traveling all over California to spend time with family. my parents have been divorced since I was seven years old. while the emotional distance has continued to splice since their separation, the physical distance has increased exponentially in recent years. I tried (and failed) to remember the last time I saw everyone in such a short time.
